Maggie Wilson says mom out of jail, blames ex Victor Consunji as behind carnapping arrest
MANILA, Philippines — Maggie Wilson has named ex Victor Consuji as among those who allegedly hurled "countless allegations" against her in a series of Instagram Stories on October 12.
She also shared that her mother has been out of detention after posting bail.
The model and former actress has been giving updates on her conflict with her estranged husband through her Instagram account, and yesterday revealed that her mother was arrested for alleged carnapping. Maggie said it was impossible for her mother to commit the alleged crime because her mother does not know how to drive and does not have a driver's license.
Maggie posted the latest on her IG Stories as published: "An update: It’s been tough 36 hours for our family knowing that my 64-year-old elderly mother had to spend time in a cramped cell with 57 other women for a crime that was impossible for her to commit.
"On October 11th, 2023, my mom, whom everyone fondly calls Tita Sonia, was arrested at approximately 10:30 am by several police officers with allegations of Car Napping despite not having a driver's license, let alone knowing how to drive a vehicle.
"These types of grave injustices cement why so many citizens of our country have little to no faith in our justice system.
“The accusations made by Victor Consunji, Bernie Mendoza, and associates are the same people who made countless false allegations against me, [Tim Connor], and many others," she said.
Her mom was released on bail for P300,000. She said that it has "become glaringly evident that the criminal case filed against her is nothing short of malicious."
Maggie also revealed that what has been happening in the past several months, including the accusations, do not only apply to her or Tim Connor.
"Unfortunately, it is just a smoke screen for countless cases and complaints he currently has against him and the companies he is associated with. Knowing the one man is causing this much mayhem, chaos, and distrust is worrying," she said.
The model-actress said she is determined to fight the legal battle inside and outside the Philippines. They have been documenting to "show the world how broken our system is."
“Whenever you purchase anything from him, you help fund his ‘strategies’ to go after people like me and others who disagree with his control and narrative over you. Regretfully, this was me for almost 12 years," she said.
She ended her latest IG Stories by thanking those who have been supporting her and her family throughout this "challenging time."
Maggie also reposted Tim's Instagram Story: "Bro, if I could give you one piece of wisdom today... From a guy 11 years your junior that has done some pretty stupid shit in his life (me). Having your son's 64-year-old grandmother arrested for carnapping when she doesn't even hold a license is not a flex; in fact, it's absolutely tragic. If there are any sensible family members out there, please, for his own sake, sit him down this evening."
