MANILA, Philippines — Disney has released a new teaser trailer for its series adaptation of Rick Riordan's "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," giving a better look at Camp Half-Blood and the titular character's journey to search for the missing master bolt of Zeus.

The teaser begins with the dyslexic titular character played by Walker Scobell on a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art when he is suddenly attacked by his class' chaperone, Mrs. Dodds (Megan Mullally), who transforms into a monstrous Fury.

Percy's mother, Sally, played by Virginia Kull, explains to him the existence of Greek mythology and reveals that her son is a demigod. When Percy's close friend Grover (Aryan Simhadri) frantically walks in, Percy gets another shock when he sees his friend with goat legs, an attribute of the mythical creature called satyr.

Clips of Camp Half-Blood and the demigod campers are then shown, as well as Glynn Turman's Chiron, who shows Percy around his new home and training ground.

Things take a swift turn as Percy is told that he must embark on a quest to look for the master bolt of Zeus (the late Lance Reddick) after being accused of stealing it, and he enlists the help of Grover and fellow camper Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries).

Quick clips of the quest are shown, and the trailer ends with Percy going up against the Minotaur in the rain after it attacks him, Sally and Grover on their way to Camp Half-Blood.
