MANILA, Philippines — Singer Ariana Grande and real estate agent Dalton Gomez have officially filed for divorce, two months after it was rumored the couple had indeed called it quits.
Ariana's lawyer Laura Wasser filed the divorce papers last September 18 citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason, and Dalton soon filed afterwards in what was seen as a coordinated effort.

According to the filed papers, Ariana and Dalton officially separated last February 20 and Ariana will be giving her ex-husband a check.
Sources told TMZ, People, and E! News that the ex-couple took "their time together to slowly work through the details of the agreement privately" because "they've been really caring and respectful of one another every step of this process."

TMZ's source added that no hard feelings were involved, while People and E! News' sources said both parties had "moved on" and the split was "kind and patient."
Ariana and Dalton began dating in January 2020, announcing their engagement 11 months later and tied the knot in May 2021 in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by less than 20 individuals.
Rumors of their breakup emerged when Ariana was seen at the 2023 Wimbledon tournament without her wedding ring, and that she deleted photos of the private wedding.
Around the same time it was reported that Ariana is now dating her "Wicked" co-star Ethan Slater, himself recently separated from singer and high school sweetheart Lilly Jay.
