MANILA, Philippines — Careless Management Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jeffrey Oh was reportedly arrested last July 28 because his company has no permit to operate in the Philippines.

Veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin said in her "Cristy Ferminute" program on One PH that authorities visited Liza Soberano's new manager in his home in Makati.

“Wala rin siyang SEC [Securities and Exchange Commission] registration. Sinet up 'yung paghuli sa kanya nu'ng Friday. In-inquest na rin siya nu'ng hapon.”

According to Cristy, the Korean-American businessman also faces charges from James Reid's father Malcolm Reid.

Jeffrey is currently detained in Bureau of Immigration, according to reports.
