MANILA, Philippines — New "Eat Bulaga" hosts Paolo Contis, Betong Sumaya and Buboy Villar reacted on "It's Showtime" transferring to GMA-7's GTV.
In a report by "24 Oras," Paolo said that the move will be a good collaboration between GMA and ABS-CBN.
"Exciting 'yon," Paolo said.
"This is a very big collaboration [ng Kapuso at ABS-CBN] kasi noontime show na 'to. It opens up a lot of opportunities for other actors para makapag-guest doon [sa It's Showtime] at the same time para makapag guest dito [sa Eat Bulaga]," he added.
Paolo said that it will be a healthy competition between their "Eat Bulaga" and "It's Showtime."
"It will be a very healthy competition because your basically under one roof," he said.
For Buboy, it's important that the team behind "It's Showtime" have jobs to feed their family.
"May mga trabaho sila lalo na ang mga nasa likod ng camera. 'Yon 'yung pinaka-importante sa akin. Hindi naman 'yung mga artista dahil sila kaya na po nilang kumita, kaya pa nilang dumiskarte sa buhay," he said.
"Pero ang pinaka-importante diyan 'yung mga nasa likod, 'yung mga sumusuporta sa artista, sila po 'yung dapat tingnan hindi po kami," he added.
Betong expressed his happiness on the move, hoping he can meet the "It's Showtime" hosts soon.
"Sana eh mag-krus ang landas natin sa mga susunod," he said.
