MANILA, Philippines — Newbie host of the embattled "Eat Bulaga" Alexa Miro posted a photo of a mass that took place in the show.
On her Instagram Stories last Monday, Miro posted a photo of the priest speaking in front of the stage, with another priest sitting beside him. The large familiar logo of the popular noontime show is emblazoned on the LED screen in the background.

"Salamat po, Panginoon," Miro's short caption read.
On Monday, Miro joined Paolo Contis, Buboy Villar, Betong Sumaya and twins Cassy and Mavy Legaspi in hosting the show previously hosted by the original hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon a.k.a TVJ for the past 44 years since 1979.
When TVJ resigned last May 31, their co-hosts Ryan Agoncillo, Maine Mendoza, Allan K, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Paolo Ballesteros followed suit. The original hosts prior to the mass resignation were collectively called Dabarkads by showrunners, hosts and viewers alike.
Contis appealed to the public to give them a chance: "We were just called to work, to continue the show because ang gusto ng TAPE office na makapagbigay ng papremyo, saya, every day. Bilang kami yung kinuha ng TAPE, responsibilidad namin na gawin yung 100 percent namin."
The show retained the popular title but many of its popular segments were replaced with new ones.
The new segments include “Watch, Copy, and Post,” “Count Me In, You Win” and “Ikaw Ang Pinaka.”
Earlier today, TV5's MediaQuest Holdings Inc. announced that TVJ and the Dabarkads have entered into an agreement to produce content for TV5 and other MediaQuest platforms.
"The deal opens yet another chapter in the long-running, celebrated entertainment careers of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon," MediaQuest said.
MediaQuest President and Chief Executive Officer Jane Basas said that she's honored that TVJ have agreed to work with them.
"Our partnership strengthens our ability to continue deliver the best for Filipino viewers here at home and all over the world," Basas said.
"I'm happy that Tito, Vic and Joey will now call TV5 their home," she added.
