MANILA, Philippines — Donned in artistic, colorful ensembles, the 40 Binibining Pilipinas 2023 candidates paraded locally-made and eco-friendly collections in a fashion show, Women Reinvent, last week at the Farmers Plaza Activity Area.

The event was in line with Women’s Month and Earth Hour celebrations last month. The lovely ladies showcased the creations of 12 local artisans who specialized in sustainable designs. They also featured accessories by Tina Campos Jewelry and Christopher Munar, bags by Ma. Delza’s Native Product and shoes by Aishe Fashion.

Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold also strutted the runway along with other Binibinis. Arnold was clad in white gown by Justine Aliman, accentuated with tribal beads on top.

Candidates (1) Juvel Cyrene Bea, (2) Elaiza Dee Alzona, (3) Lyra Punsalan, (4) Paulina Labayo, (5) Gianna Llanes, (6) Angelica Lopez, (7) Allhia Estores, (8) Mirjan Hipolito, (9) Babyerna Liong and (10) Rasha Cortez Al Enzi sported a modern look with designer PNay’s creations.

Binibinis (11) Kiaragiel Gregorio, (12) Xena Ramos, (13) Samantha Dana Bug-os, (14) Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano and (15) Jessilen Salvador wore a purple-shade, Filipiniana-themed creations of designer Russ Cuevas.

Pageant hopefuls (16) Atasha Reign Parani, (17) Tracy Lois Bedua, (18) Andrea Marie Sulangi, (19) Julia Mae Mendoza and (20) Julianne Rose Reyes wore buri-made costumes of designer Adam Balasa.

On the other hand, pageant aspirants (21) Paola Allison Araño, (22) Anje Mae Manipol, (23) Zoe Bernardo Santiago, (24) Anna Valencia Lakrini and (25) Yesley Cabanos presented James O’Briant tribal-designed clothing.

Beauties (26) Rheema Adarkkoden, (27) Zeah Nestle Pala, (28) Katrina Mae Sese, (29) Trisha Martinez and (30) Charismae Almarez put on Filipiniana dresses with a twist, created by Peñaflorida Atelier.

Joining them were (31) April Angelu Barro, (32) Sharmaine Magdasoc, (33) Katrina Anne Johnson, (34) Joy Dacoron and (35) Sofia Lopez Galve, who flaunted beautiful gowns from Christine Lam.

The last batch of Binibinis who graced the stage were (36) Mary Chiles Balana, (37) Pia Isabel Duloguin, (38) Lea Macapagal, (39) Loraine Jara and (40) Candy Marilyn Vollinger, all dressed by Kutur ni Jean.

The fashion show was one of the activities lined up by the organization leading to the coronation night in May. The Binibining Pilipinas 2023 also recently concluded its talent competition.
