MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador neither confirmed nor denied that she and Markus Paterson have broken up.
In an interview with the media after the grand press conference of "Mars Ravelo's Darna," Janella said that she and Markus are happy as individuals.
"Masaya naman ako ngayon, happy, at peace. Okay naman kami, basta okay kami,” Janella said.
"We're both happy as individuals and our main priority is Jude," she added.
When asked if she's ready to fall in love again and if she prefers it if the guy is not from showbiz, Janella said she's not picky.
"Hindi naman ako mapili. Kung sino ang dumating basta't maayos, basta't mamahalin ako," she said.
Janella will play Darna's villain, Valentina, in the upcoming series. She said playing the character is one of the challenging roles for her.
"Una sa lahat, siyempre iconic nga siya and pinaghandaan ko talaga siya. It's one of the most challenging roles that I've ever had to portray kasi nga napaka-complicated niya," she said.
