Ezra Miller charged with felony burglary, 'The Flash' movie still a go

MANILA, Philippines — "Fantastic Beasts" actor Ezra Miller found himself in another spot of trouble after being charged with felony burglary by state police in Vermont, United States.

A report from early May by the Vermont State Police shows they found probable cause to charge the controversial actor after a burglary complaint which saw several alcohol bottles taken from a residence while the homeowners were out.

Vermont police collected statements from witnesses and reviewed surveillance videos before formally charging Miller, issuing him a citation to appear at the US state's Superior Court on September 26 for arraignment.

Miller was previously arrested twice in Hawaii earlier this year for disorderly conduct, harassment, and second-degree assault, and for allegedly choking a woman in Iceland.

Despite all this, Warner Bros. has stood firm in saying their upcoming superhero film "The Flash" — where Miller plays the titular character — will still be released next year in theaters, and are even excited about its progress.

The news comes after Warner Bros. decided to pull the plug on projects in development like "Batgirl" and a "Scoob!" sequel despite having spent millions of dollars already for pre-production.

Barring any further delays, "The Flash" is set to be released on June 2023 and will also feature two former Batman actors, Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, the latter reprising a role he hasn't portrayed in 30 years.
