MANILA, Philippines — Coming out is a very important moment in a queer person's life, and it became even more significant for one particular individual as they had the assistance of British singer Harry Styles.

During the second day of his concerts at London's Wembley Stadium, Harry caught sight of an Italian fan who was holding up a sign "From Ono to Wembley: Help me come out” in between sets.

The "As It Was" singer accepted the fan's request and after handing back the sign borrowed a pride flag for a personalized "ceremony."

“When this flag goes over my head, you are officially out. I think that’s how it works," Harry said while fans chanted the fan's name. "When this goes over the head, you’re officially gay, my boy.”

Harry then proceeded to tease the crowd as he ran along the stage, slowly lifting the flag and saying "No still straight!" until finally raising the flag over his head in a clenched fist to the ecstasy of fans.

“Congratulations, you’re a free man!” Harry proclaimed at the fan, throwing back the pride flag and blowing a kiss.

This is not the first time Harry has helped his fans come out in public, having done it in past concerts in 2018 and 2021.

At the very same concert, Harry's One Direction bandmate Niall Horan was in attendance. Numerous fans uploaded videos of Niall smiling as Harry performed the group's first-ever hit "What Makes You Beautiful" released over a decade ago.

Harry later took to Twitter to call the Wembley concert one of his favorite shows ever, "I don’t know where to begin thanking you, I’m completely overwhelmed. I’m so grateful, I’m so happy. Thank you, thank you. I love you all."

The singer is currently touring his third and newest album "Harry's House" which is breaking streaming and album sales records and topping billboard charts worldwide.
