Rihanna enters Forbes' billionaires list, becomes Barbados' first billionaire
MANILA, Philippines — Singer, actress and entrepeneur Rihanna has cracked into Forbes' 38th annual billionaires list, becoming Barbados' first registered billionaire.
With a net worth of $1.7 billion thanks to her stakes in her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and the Savage X Fenty lingerie business, Rihanna ranks 1729th on the list and is also richest female musician.

Another debutant on the Forbes list is "The Lord of the Rings" franchise director Peter Jackson, who became a billionaire after selling his stake in visual effects company Weta, which worked on the films. Jackson enters at 1,929th with a net worth of $1.5 billion.
Meanwhile rapper Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, rose 200 spots to 1,1513th on the list with a net worth of $2 billion, heavily contributed by his Yeezy partnership with Adidas.
Fellow hip-hop artist and music producer Jay-Z saw his net worth drop by $6 million to $1.3 billion, good for 2,076th place.
Other returning billionaires include entertainment icon Oprah Winfrey, movie director Steven Spielberg, filmmaker Tyler Perry, and Kanye's ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Topping the list is Tesla founder Elon Musk with a net worth of $219 billion, followed by Amazon chief Jeff Bezos whose value is at $171 billion. The list has shrunk by nearly a hundred with the collective worth down from $13.1 trillion to $12.6 — of the 2,668 listed billionaires, 735 are from the United States.
