MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso singer Julie Anne San Jose remained vague about the real score between her and best friend Rayver Cruz, saying any questions about their potential romantic relationship would be better addressed to him.
"Mas nakakabuti kung siya ang tanungin, mas okay kung sa kanya manggagaling," Julie Anne said while promoting "Rise," the third part of her "Limitless" concert trilogy which is set for April 9 and 10.
Julie Anne acknowledged though that many people are curious about their situation individually and together, especially after the two posted videos of them singing and playing the guitar together, as well as a number of TikTok videos together.
"'Yung mga latest posts naman were [for] preparation," Julie Anne said, confirming that Rayver would be appearing in "Rise" alongside other guest stars. She also mentioned that Rayver was always originally going to be a part of the concert trilogy, even after adjustments in their schedule.
The singer-actress also shared that in her upcoming concert, she really wanted to reconnect with people such as friends, supporters, and those close to her — including Rayver.
"Everyone knows we've always been very close, we enjoy each other's company, and comfortable [kami] sa isa't isa," the singer told the press.
Asked if Rayver is among her reasons to be grateful and appreciative of, she said in jest, "It's good to be inspired," adding that she's very happy at the moment.
