Tom Hiddleston, Zawe Ashton now engaged

MANILA, Philippines — “Loki” star Tom Hiddleston and actress Zawe Ashton are now engaged after three years of dating.

The couple starred opposite each other in the 2019 Broadway revival of Harold Pinter's play “Betrayal.”

Zawe was photographed wearing her engagement ring while holding hands with Tom at the recent 2022 BAFTA Awards.

Tom, who also dated pop star Taylor Swift, is known for being private in his relationships.

"Everyone is entitled to a private life," he told The Telegraph in 2017. 

"I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment, and in my mind I don't conflict the two. My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate," he added. 

The couple confirmed their relationship last September when they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Tony Awards.
