Joshua Garcia warns fans of fake Facebook account
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia warned his fans about a fake Facebook account.
The page showed a photo of Joshua and rumored girlfriend Ria Atayde on the yacht watching the sunset.
"Ikaw ang aking liwanag," the fake post read, which became trending on Facebook.
In his Instagram account, Joshua shared the same photo debunking the rumor.
"Hello! This is not mine! I don't have a Facebook Page! Thank you," he wrote.
Ria, who also tagged by Joshua in his post, also shared the same photo denying their relationship.
"Liwanag?! Bakit? Hahaha. So funny but also, another reminder to always check your sources. Hahahaha," she wrote, adding a "Fake News" GIF.
Joshua and Ria were rumored to be a couple after photos of their clique with Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo showed that they are ones without partners.
Sources of Philstar.com, however, said that Joshua and Ria are not really in a relationship since they are only friends.
