MANILA, Philippines — Actress-singer Mandy Moore believed that it’s time to reboot her hit movie “A Walk To Remember," but this time, starring Filipino-American singer-actress Olivia Rodrigo.
In her interview with People, the “Cry” singer said that she loved the idea of rebooting the movie adapted from the 1999 Nicholas Sparks novel of the same title.
“I would love that … I don't know, Olivia Rodrigo or something like that … Someone could redo this film,” Mandy said.
“I would love to see it. It's been long enough that, yeah, I feel like we've earned our place in cinematic history for a reboot at this point,” she added.
The movie, which also starred Shane West, celebrated the 20th anniversary of its theatrical release last January 25.
The movie follows high school senior Landon Carter (Shane) who unexpectedly falls in love with the girl he once made fun of, Jamie (Mandy).
