MANILA, Philippines — Filipino fans are easily hooked on ABS-CBN's "The Broken Marriage Vow," the Kapamilya adaptation of popular British show "Doctor Foster" with a hit Korean counterpart titled "The World of the Married." Some women can easily relate to Jodi Sta. Maria's Dr. Jill Ilustre, as she deals with the disloyalty of her husband, Zanjoe Marudo's David Ilustre.
Female netizens are visibly rallying against marital cheating in social media conversations, but actress Bianca Manalo seems to have an unpopular opinion.
Just like her character Carol Manansala, Bianca believes that she should not be the one to tell a female friend about her husband's cheating, should she find out about it.
I believe, that's not your story to tell. Malay mo maayos nila mag-asawa. 'Yun ang paniniwala ni Carol, medyo mahirap ang character ko," Bianca shared during the recent virtual press con of the TV series.
“Mga lalaki, nagkakamali. Bigyan natin sila ng allowance for mistakes,” the actress further said.
Bianca also shared how she prepared for her role.
Foster,' tapos yung Korean version," she said.
"The Broken Marriage Vow" can be watched on the Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, and on Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, and TFC.
