Andi Eigenmann pledges vlogging earnings to help Odette victims in Siargao
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Andi Eigenmann pledged to donate her earnings from her YouTube channel to victims of Super Typhoon Odette on her home island, Siargao.
In her Instagram account, Andi posted a video showing she and her fiancé Philmar Alipayo and their children enjoying the waters of Siargao.
"We are grateful that our family and friends are safe, but most of them have lost their homes and are in need of food, water, among others," Andi wrote in the video.
"With this, we will be using our earnings from our coming videos to help slowly rebuild our island home again," she added.
In the caption of her post, Andi said that she will upload on her channel the 10th birthday of Ellie.
“We are back with the back-to-back uploads for Christmas, as promised. Beginning with Ellie's 10th birthday leading up to our last days on the island and what we thought would only be a week-long vacation here in Manila,” Andi said in the caption.
Andi also said that her home Siargao needs help as she asks for donations.
“Our family is going through hard times at the moment, but what's important is that our loved ones are safe. But they do need help. Siargao has brought so much magic into my life and this will be our way of giving back to our community. To our home,” she said.
