Kris Aquino says Angel Locsin donated P2M for Odette victims through VP Leni

MANILA, Philippines — Celebrities Kris Aquino and Angel Locsin partnered with Vice President Leni Robredo to help victims of Super Typhoon Odette in Visayas and Mindanao. 

In a viral video posted on Twitter, Kris made known Angel's donations of millions of pesos to the Vice President for the benefit of typhoon victims. 

"Nagbigay po si Angel Locsin ng P2 million kay VP Leni para po pantulong para po sa lahat ng nasalanta," Kris said in the video. 

Kris joined Robredo on Tuesday during her visit to Barangay Daan Banua in Kabankalan City for relief efforts and assistance in the aftermath of Typhoon Odette.

Kris wrote on her Instagram account on Monday that she and Angel always communicate with each other on how to help victims if there is a calamity in the country. 

“Matagal na kaming tandem ni @therealangellocsin 'pag ganitong may kalamidad at araw araw kaming naguusap kung paano ba makakatulong. Kinukulit namin ni Alvin si Ina ni VP @lenirobredo,” she said.

She also commended Robredo and Sen. Manny Pacquiao for uniting to help typhoon victims. 

“[At] 5 a.m. kanina magka text kami ni VP Leni. Saludo ako sa kanya at kay Senator @mannypacquiao dahil nagkaisa sila para mas maraming matulungan,” she said.
