MANILA, Philippines — Director Jay Altarejos asked Filipinos not to fight each other but understand that not everyone has the opportunity to know the right information.

In an exclusive interview, Philstar.com asked Jay on how he responded to online bashers of his controversial film “Walang Kasarian ang Digmang Bayan,” a movie that tackles the infamous war on drugs of the Duterte administration.

Jay also said that his movie doesn’t only show Duterte’s war on drugs but also every problem of the country.

“Walang Kasarian ang Digmang Bayan” premieres on KTX on November 30. The film has a special screening on November 27 sponsored by M.C. Biliber Lending Corporation, Ticao Altamar Resort, and Tita Mommy's.
