Filipina joins Disney's 'She-Hulk' cast
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American Hollywood actress Ginger Gonzaga revealed that she was tapped to be part of the upcoming Marvel series “She-Hulk” coming soon to Disney Plus.
In her Instagram account, Ginger said she’s excited to part of the cast.
“She Hulk! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am join #shehulk. We will be directed by THE @katcoiro! @chairman.gao is writing our series, and fam… she. Is. Funny. I get to pal around with @tatianamaslany who can play ANYTHING, and I get to look fierce while being funny!” Ginger wrote.
“So stoked to join the @marvel/@disney family, and they have been nothing but supportive and kind with next level vibes…Also tons of rumors going around that @markruffalo is the greatest dude. Will report back!” she added.
Ginger is set to play the best friend of actress Tatiana Maslany, who is playing the role of Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who gains all the superpowers of the Hulk.
The Filipino-American actress is best known for her roles as Christy in the Duplass Brothers’ “Togetherness” on HBO, Maggie on Showtime’s Dramedy “I’m Dying Up Here” and as Vivian on “Kidding,” both shows produced by comedian Jim Carrey.
