Raffy Tulfo gives advice to Super Tekla, partner over sexual abuse issue
MANILA, Philippines — Veteran broadcaster Raffy Tulfo gave his opinion on the ongoing battle between Kapuso comedian Super Tekla and Tekla's partner Michelle Bana-ag.
In a virtual press conference of "Idol in Action" yesterday, Raffy said he hopes that Tekla and Michelle will just clear things between them.
"Para sa akin, magkaayos na lang sana sila. Ako'y nakikinig din sa mga netizen e, tinitignan ko 'yung mga opinyon ng mga netizen. May mga punto 'yung ibang mga netizen na sinasabing 'Bakit ka magkakaso dito kay Tekla dahil for seven years nagmahalan kayo at may naitulong naman si Tekla sa iyo at saiyong family, etc, etc. Nasan na 'yung utang na loob mo? Bakit di na lang kayo mag-ayos?'," Tulfo told Philstar.com and other media in the press conference.
Raffy added that social media users are right for saying that the couple should sort things out for the sake of their baby.
"Then sabi ko, may point 'yung mga netizen so mas maganda kung magka-ayos na lang sila alang-alang sa kanilang anak," he said.
Raffy encouraged Tekla to make a stand in the issue and answer the allegations.
"Then may mga netizen na nagsasabi na baka pera lang ang habol nito at baka planted 'yung mga videos na pinadala sa amin. Sabi ko, 'Pwede'," Tulfo said.
"So mas maganda sana kung nakikinig si Tekla, kung magsasalita ka tomorrow, alam mo naman sir na patas ako, then pwede kang magsalita para mapakinggan ka."
Michelle recently revealed on Raffy's show that Tekla allegedly forced her to have sex with him. When she refused, the comedian allegedly did not give her money for food.

Early today, Super Tekla Facebook page posted a video explaining that his friend and fellow comedian Donita Nose told Tulfo via the show "Raffy Tulfo in Action" that he is hurt by all the criticism his friend gets.
According to Donita, although Tekla has shortcomings, he also has good traits and though Tekla had vices in the past, Donita assured the public that Tekla has changed for the better.
“Idol in Action,” which debuted on TV5 and on One PH last June 8, airs every Monday to Friday with its new time slot at 10:30 a.m. Apart from Tulfo, the public service program has segments co-hosted by MJ Marfori, Marga Vargas, Raffy's daughter Maricel Tulfo, Kapitana Carol Domingo and Hannibal Talete.
