Lee celebrates 130 years

MANILA, Philippines – Lee, the jeans people love to wear through the years, celebrated its 130th anniversary in an Urban Streetwear (#MoveYourLee)-themed party held last Oct. 9 at the Level 1 pop-up shop of SM City Makati.

Guests and shoppers were treated to the on-the-spot do-it-yourself (DIY) T-shirt printing activity, Lee x Smiley Fall/Winter 2019 Collection exhibit and a meet-and-greet session with Lee Jeans celebrity endorsers Julie Anne San Jose, Tony Labrusca and Seth Fedelin. Other celebrities and influencers who graced the event were Rocco Nacino, Suzy Entrata, Bobby Ray Parks Jr., Liezel Lopez, Ashley Diaz, Justine Felizarta, Angela Evangelista, Rere Madrid, Ayeesha Cervantes, Angel Guardian, Raymond Mabute, twins Kyle and Kleif Almeda, Anna Faustino, Sophia Señoron, Ace Yabut, Pamela Prinster, Radson Flores, Jerick Dolormente, Psalms David, Abdul Raman, Ella Cristofani, Janine Rubin and Maika Rivera. 2017 Miss World Philippines Laura Lehmann hosted the event.

Lee, which started in 1889, has taken pride in being a purveyor of craftsmanship in design. It has demonstrated an undying passion for innovation and transformed itself from a practical and durable work-wear maker to a contemporary and trend-setting fashion giant.
