2019 Mr. & Miss Chinatown winners

MANILA, Philippines – Jonathan ‘Jonah’ Chantong, 23-year-old student of De La Salle University, and Nina Tay Lee, 25, a student of the University of Santo Tomas, were named 2019 Mr. and Miss Chinatown Philippines, a prestigious Chinoy pageant. They also won the special awards for Best in Swimwear and Best in Formal Wear.

The pageant’s theme for this year is #BuildingBridges which means giving birth to a ‘unique Chinoy identity through blending of the Filipino and Chinese cultures.’

One of the pageant highlights is the unveiling of the new crown for the female winners called The Phoenix Crown, handcrafted by Hoseki Jewel designs.

First runners-up were Jeremiah Tomas and Philene Yeung. Second runners-up were Stephen Lim and Lorraine Cho.
