Vic Sotto supports Vico Sotto's stand on love life

MANILA, Philippines — “Eat Bulaga” host Vic Sotto was proud of what his son, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, has accomplished in barely two months of being the head of government in one of the biggest cities in Metro Manila.

In an interview with the media during the story conference of his upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival movie “Mission Unstapabol,” Vic said he is happy with the news that Vico is doing well.

"Ako'y natutuwa 'pag nakakabalita ako ng ganyan. Siyempre anak ko 'yun 'no. Hanggang ngayon nga hindi ako makapaniwala na may anak akong mayor na magaling. So I'm happy for him and very proud," the veteran comedian said. 

"Alam ko naman na he will be doing good and I'm confident na he will do better in the future kasi he's come prepared. Noong kumandidato siya, alam ko he was prepared for the job, and sa nakikita natin ngayon, he's doing a good job," he added. 

When asked for his son’s love life, Vic declared: "Ay wala."

He also agreed with his son’s recent statement that he preferred to have more time for rest than have a love life. 

"Totoo naman. Kahit ako ang nasa lugar no'n, mas masarap matulog," Vic said.
