MANILA, Philippines – Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson revealed that their recent scout ranger training was supposed to be two weeks but it was just compressed into three days, making it more difficult.

In an interview with the media during the Skechers Performance Run 2019, Gerald said he’s proud of what he, together with Jerome Ponce, Nash Aguas and Yves Flores and Elmo Magalona have accomplished.

“Ang ating scout rangers ay ang the best jungle fighter sa buong Asia tapos na-undergo namin, kahit sabihin nating three days lang, dapat two weeks eh ginawa nila yung training in the span of three days, kinompress so very intense.

The military training was part of the exercise as being part of the upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye “A Soldier’s Heart” where they are now an army reservist.

Gerald added that being in the training makes him appreciate soldiers on their sacrifice for the country.
