Camille Prats: We stop at ‘4’
From the Grapevine:
• The song is right: Some good things never last. Case in point is the two-year relationship of Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz who were reported to have split up. Did Ellen fall out of love after she realized that, according to rumors, JLC was somewhat “weird” (no elaboration)? There’s another rumor that Ellen was spotted at a Regional Trial Court (RTC) suspected to have filed a TPO (Temporary Protection Order) against JLC to prevent him from seeing their year-old son Elias Modesto.
Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz: So soon?
• Kylie Padilla might give birth in November, a few weeks ahead of her mother-in-law Mariel Rodriguez. It’s another boy for Kylie and husband Aljur Abrenica and another girl for Mariel and husband Robin Padilla.
• Ai-Ai delas Alas is determined to conceive her and husband Gerald Sibayan’s first child. She has been open about her preparation for that event which is set for early 2020. On her recent trip to the US, Ai-Ai confided to her good friend, immigration lawyer Jemela Nettles, that she and Gerald already have a preserved embryo and she’s just waiting for the doctor’s go-signal.

After giving birth to her third child, a boy named Nolan Cristiano, last July 10, Camille Prats said that enough is enough.
“We stop at #4,” said Camille.
She has a son, Nathan Ceasar, by her late husband Anthony Linsangan, while she and current husband Vj Yambao have two — that is, a girl named Nala Camille, aside from the new baby. Vj has his own son, Ice, from his previous partner.
Aside from the GMA morning show re-titled Mars Pa More (starting at 8:50, Monday thru Friday), now with Iya Villania-Arellano as co-host (replacing Susie Entrata), Camille also runs her own blog. Busy bee, she!
Asked how she juggles work, motherhood and blogging, Camille admitted, “Time management can be very difficult when there’s a lot to juggle but thankfully I am somehow able to do what is needed to be done. I only have two taping days every week and during that time the kids stay with my mom while Vj is at work. Other days, we bring our kids to work, especially when there is no help. Nala takes a two-hour nap in the afternoon and that’s when I write on my blog or think of something to vlog about.”
Because Camille is breastfeeding her baby, she has requested the network to give her six months before she starts work on a telenovela.
“I really want to breastfeed Nolan for at least a year,” said Camille.
Anything about “mothering” that she would do differently given the chance?
“Hmmmm…none. I think I am quite happy with my ‘mothering’ style. I am a hands-on mom. All our kids sleep with us and I get help from the yayas only during daytime.”
And how is Vj as a dad?
“I’m blessed to have a hands-on husband who plays such an active role in our kids’ lives, the right balance of discipline and love. I guess so far, we’re surviving the parenting part, raising decent, kind and respectful children. Vj is amazing with kids. He has developed this special talent of having more patience with our children, hehehe!!! He takes really good care of Nala; he’s something else with Nathan. Vj is the disciplinarian in the family but also gives the right balance of showing him that he is loved. They do things together, like muay thai and rollerblading. They enjoy hanging out together a lot.”
Camille said that both Nala and Nolan were “surprise” babies.
“That’s why we have decided that Baby #4 is the last na. We are good with four kids.”
