Filipina DJ passes away at 35

MANILA, Philippines — My Only Radio (MOR) disk jockey Jasmin Basar has died due to kidney failure. 

Reports said the DJ battled End Stage Chronic Kidney Disease for the past seven years. She was 35 years old. 

In MOR's Facebook account, the radio station posted a photo of Jasmin and expressed their love to the departed DJ.  

“Salamat, Jasmin. Mahal ka namin," MOR wrote.

Jasmin's partner on her radio show "Dear MOR," DJ Popoy, posted photos of them and an emotional message to his friend. 

“Baby girl Jasmin Balong, Jr, the Turd. Mami-miss kita Manang Jasmin ko. Kwentuhan, asaran, payuhan na pang sating 2 lang. Tunay kang kaibigan Jasmin. Magpahinga ka na. Gabayan mo kami. Goodbye partner. I love you!" DJ Popoy wrote. 

A graduate of Communication Arts from the Far Eastern University, DJ Jasmin started her career in MOR in 2009.
