MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actresses Kathryn Bernardo and Sarah Geronimo were both named Best Actress at 35th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies on Sunday.
Kathryn received the award held at in Resorts World Manila's Newport Performing Arts Theater for her role in the movie “The Hows of Us” while Sarah bagged the award for her role in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean movie “Miss Granny.”
Kathryn also received the Movie Love Team of the Year award with her on- and off-screen partner Daniel Padilla.
The Best Actor, meanwhile, was received by Ogie Alcasid for his performance in the Cinemalaya entry “Kuya Wes.”
“Rainbow Sunset” received the Movie of the Year while “Citizen Jake” bagged the Indie Movie of the Year award.
