No Kidding — 'Ang Probinsyano' is now on Netflix
MANILA, Philippines — What was once an April Fools' joke is now true as ABS-CBN's "Ang Probinsyano" is already available on Netflix starting May, with its 50-episode pilot season.
The television adaptation of Fernando Poe Jr.'s film "Ang Probinsyano" starring Coco Martin is the longest running action-drama television series in the Philippines.
It follows the fate of twins separated at birth, Ricardo “Cardo” Dalisay and Dominador de Leon.
It has aired 936 episodes since 2015. The program’s longevity then took the brunt of a 2018 Reddit April Fools’ joke, hailing Martin’s character as “immortal” in a manipulated photo of the show on Netflix’s website.

Netflix’s 1.8 million Philippine subscribers can stream the four-year running TV program under its new title “Brothers.”
Meanwhile, Twitter users received the show’s Netflix launch with both awe and disbelief.
