Doppelganger? Lea Salonga reacts to photos comparing her to Captain Marvel
MANILA, Philippines — International artist Lea Salonga reacted to posts on social media comparing her and “Avengers: Endgame” actress Brie Larson who played the role of Captain Marvel.
On her Twitter account, Lea said she’s flattered with the comparison with the Hollywood actress.
“Not just a few friends sent me photos of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel with the new haircut. Hee hee, thanks, everyone! I’m very flattered!” Lea wrote.

On social media, some compared photos of Brie and Lea side by side.
“Imagine mo naging avenger ka tapos pinapili ka kung kay coach lea, coach bamboo o apl de ap ka ba mapupunta,” one user on Twitter captioned photos of Brie together with Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), saying they looked like The Voice Philippines coaches Lea, Bamboo and Apl de Ap.

James Cameron’s “Avatar” holds the highest grossing movie of all time with $2.79 billion followed by another James Cameron movie “Titanic” with $2.19 billion and JJ Abrams’ “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with $2.07 billion.
