Kris Aquino’s reaction to strong earthquake goes viral 

MANILA, Philippines — “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino’s reaction during the earthquake on Monday was caught on camera while she was having an interview with the media. 

In a viral Facebook video, Kris was in the middle of an interview when suddenly, an earthquake occurred.

“May lindol. And nawalan na ng kuryente. I want to go home — my sons — because nasa fault line kami. Malakas ‘yon. Check si Bimbs and si Kuya,” Kris said upon feeling the jolt. 

She told her staff to check their house, especially her sons Josh and Bimby. During times like an earthquake, she said a mother’s first instinct is to check her children. 

“Check niyo sa bahay ha. How are they? Check the two kids. Ayun talaga ang unang reactions, tumawag sa bahay to check the kids,” Kris said.  

She was also worried that their new TV might fall over her sons if they were playing videogames during the quake.

“’Yung games! Baka nag-topple over ‘yung bagong TV!” she told her staff.

Kris also joked that the end of the world is coming and she was glad she already bought all the Chanel products she likes.

“It's the end of the world na, I'm telling you. Buti nalang binili ko na lahat ng Chanel na gusto ko. At least na-experience ko siya,” she said. 

“Bwiset, laki pa ng tax na binayaran ko. Sana pala inevade ko na lahat ng ginastos ko,” she kidded. 

A 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit Central Luzon on Monday, with an epicenter near the town of Castillejos in Zambales.

In the same interview, Kris was also seen sporting a new short hairstyle. 

In her Instagram account, a fan asked her the story behind her new 'do, to which she said, it is because of her medical condition. 

“I'm not afraid to share my health battles, side effect of 2 of my medicines -- i have a lot of hair fall, hindi chemotheraphy level but alarming na... 3rd month na 1 of the meds, by now dapat nag adjust but not yet, so to put less strain, i got a blunt bob,” Kris said.

“It's sad to wake up & see lots of hair sa pillow or in the shower maraming nalalagas regardless how gentle the shampoo & after when combing, still a lot... my life's reality. But i always remind myself- be grateful because I'm alive!” she asserted.
