MANILA, Philippines — “Queen of all Media” Kris Aquino has withdrawn her theft complaint against her former business partner Nicko Falcis in Mandaluyong.

A document from the Mandaluyong court shows Kris has withdrawn her complaint last March 23.

“As prayed for, in view of the Motion to 'Withdraw Complaint' dated 23 March 2019 filed by complainant, the above-entitled complaint is deemed withdrawn," the document read.

The document does not give a reason why Kris withdrew the complaint.

The TV host filed seven qualified theft cases amounting to P1.2 million against Nicko in seven different cities in Metro Manila, including Mandaluyong, Makati, Taguig, Quezon City, Manila, Pasig, and San Juan last October.

The complaints filed in Pasig, Makati and Taguig have all been dismissed. The Taguig City fiscal’s office, however, has recommended the charging of Estafa and credit card fraud against Nicko.

With Kris withdrawing the case in Mandaluyong, there are only three cases against Nicko (filed in Manila, San Juan and Quezon City) without a resolution.

For his part, Nicko filed a grave threat complaint against Kris in Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.

Kris is currently on social media break because she has been “consumed by real depression, primarily because of my complicated medical diagnosis.”
