MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual thrilled people on social media as he hinted a showbiz comeback for on-leave fellow actor John Lloyd Cruz.
In his Instagram post, Piolo posted a photo of a man resembling John Lloyd in a silhouette, with a caption that says, “Ang Pagbabalik...”
The photo also has a logo of a shawarma brand, which Piolo and son Inigo endorse.
“If thats you i’m happy coz ur my brother. welcome to the family!” Piolo captioned the photo.
“Wow John Lloyd Cruz,” an Instagram user commented.
“Lodi kau pareho!! Bat di kau magsama sa pelikula,” another user commented.
John Lloyd took an indefinite leave from show business in October 2017. Since then, he lives a private life away from the limelight with partner Ellen Adarna and son Elias Modesto.
Recently, John Lloyd’s artworks were exhibited in West Gallery’s four-man exhibition. He joined other artists such as Kaloy Sanchez, Tatong Torres and Kawayan de Guia.
Titled “Void,” John Lloyd’s exhibit featured images the actor reportedly took almost two years ago, around the same time he filed an indefinite leave.
