Manager speaks up on Maine Mendoza’s alleged ABS-CBN transfer
MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress Maine Mendoza’s manager Rams David debunked rumors that the “Eat Bulaga” host will transfer to the Kapamilya network.
In his Facebook account, Rams also denied rumors that Maine was suspended and kicked out from the longest-running noontime show in the country.
“Kesyo Suspended, Tinangal at Lumipat. Wala pong totoo kahit ano po dyan. #lovelivelove mga Beshie,” Rams wrote.
Suspicions surrounding Maine’s transfer reportedly began with a tweet from Entertainment Uptake’s Twitter account, which alleged that Maine is being “let go” by “Eat Bulaga.”
“SCOOP: There are unconfirmed reports that Maine Mendoza is being let go by her current management and Eat Bulaga. Will she be transferring to ABS-CBN soon to be with Arjo Atayde? Soon we will know the answer!” the Twitter account wrote.
Maine's fans commented on Rams’ post, thanking him for updating them on the situation.
“Thanks for the update, dami po mga nega na naman buti na lang di ako paniwala,” a Facebook user said.
“Salamat Sir Rams sa update… Support po kami Mainephils,” commented by another Facebook user.
After becoming an Internet sensation for her Dubmash videos, Maine was tapped by Tape Inc. to become a host of "Eat Bulaga's” “Juan For All, All For Juan" segment as Yaya Dub, paired with Alden Richards to form the phenomenal love team AlDub.
