MANILA, Philippines — International K-pop sensation BTS on Monday made history as the first Korean idol group to grace the prestigious Grammy Awards.

BTS attended the 61st annual show of the Grammys, where they also earned a nomination.

The K-pop group’s album “Love Yourself: Tear” is nominated for best recording package.

In May last year, the album reached the top spot at the Billboard 200.

BTS, composed of V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM and J-Hope, was also the first K-pop group to present an award at the Grammys. They presented an award to Best R&B Album of the year winner H.E.R., who is a Filipino-American.
