Catriona Gray ‘excited’ to attend New York Fashion Week 2019
MANILA, Philippines — Catriona Gray said she is looking forward to attending the prominent fashion event, New York Fashion Week 2019, this time, as Miss Universe.
“So excited for NYFW!!! Especially since I can have fun with fashion and beauty looks,” the 25-year-old beauty queen said on an Instagram post.
Catriona asked her 4.5 million followers recommendations on what beauty trend and looks she has to try over the next few days in view of the upcoming fashion event.
This year, NYFW is slated from February 4 to 16.
Asked if she will be doing her iconic lava walk at the fashion event, Catriona clarified that she will just attend the event but will not walk the runway.
“As for my lava walk in Fashion Week, I would be attending I won’t be walking. But you'll probably see that in homecoming,” Catriona said during the meet and greet with the Filipino-American community held at the Philippine Center in New York City.
Months before she competed for Miss Universe 2018, Catriona walked the NYFW 2018 last September. She modeled for designer Sherri Hill.

Catriona is set to return to the Philippines mid-February. She said she is also excited for her grand homecoming which is in time for "Valentine's Day."
