MANILA, Philippines — Recording artist Claudia Barretto represented the Philippines in a music video for an upcoming Thai movie.

In her Instagram account, Claudia, the younger sister of Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto, said she was so honored to be part of the music video for the movie “Friendzone,” along with young artists from Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Laos.

“So honored to have been a part of FriendZone, a Thai movie, coming out in theaters soon! The official music video for #FriendZone is out now. Watch my performance with 8 other international singers ♥,” Claudia said.

Singers from the ASEAN region, including China sang their parts in their mother tongue while Claudia sang “Pagsubok ba ito? Sana ay sabihin sa akin. Isip mo at damdamin na puso ay wag paluluhain.”

Claudia began her own career as a Universal Records singer in 2017 with her first single “Stay.” She is now an artist of the Cornerstone Entertainment, together with Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto to name a few.

She told Philstar.com back then that she was not feeling the pressure of having a showbiz family.

“Even my siblings and mom they’re not like that towards me. As long as I'm doing my best, for me it’s enough,” she said.
