Newlywed Moira dela Torre thanks two dads for their 'greatest gift yet'

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya singer Moira dela Torre was grateful for the presence of her two fathers during her wedding day, describing it “the greatest miracle” of her life. 

In her Instagram account, Moira posted a photo of her two fathers, Mike and John, who were waiting for her down the aisle during her recent wedding to fellow singer-songwriter Jason Marvin Hernandez. 

“My most prayed prayer and the least i was in faith for reasons i just didnt think was possible my whole life, became the greatest miracle of my life yet. Thank You, Lord, for letting me have both my dads give me away on our wedding day,” Moira wrote. 

The “Malaya” singer also thanked both of her fathers for setting their differences aside for her.

“I also want to honor them because they even honored each other, laid down their differences and became friends this past month. Thank you daddy mike & daddy john for making me feel loved my whole life, but this was your greatest gift yet,” she said.

“On my wedding day, i learned that when God moves, He doesn't just fix the surface, He restores completely and He makes all things new,” she added. 

In another Instagram post, Moira shared a photo of her with her two sets of families, captioning it with “My beautiful breakthrough.”

The marriage of Moira’s parents was annulled when she was just three years old. Last August 2018, Moira and her biological father were reunited in San Francisco after 12 years.
