Kapuso star Dennis Trillo thanked many people for his Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 Best Actor award, who include girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.

MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo has dedicated his Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 Best Actor award for the movie “One Great Love” to girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.

Labing apat na taon mula noong ako’y unang nakatanggap ng ganitong parangal, para sa pelikulang Aishite Imasu 1941 directed by Joel Lamangan, na siya ring pinaka una kong pelikulang nagawa sa buong buhay ko. Salamat po Mother Lily at Miss Roselle Monteverde sa pagtitiwala noon pa man, hindi hindi ko po yun makakalimutan. Taos puso din ang aking pasasalamat kay Miss Kim Chiu ,JC deVera, Marlo Mortel at Miles Ocampo lahat ay magagaling at seryoso sa trabaho, mapalad at proud akong nakagawa ng proyekto kasama kayo. Malaking bagay din ang tulong at pag gabay ng aming director na si direk Eric Quizon @eric_quizon . Salamat sa pagbigay ng kumpiyansa sa akin upang magampanan ko ng maayos ang Role ni Ian.???? Ang lahat ng ito ay hindi ko magagawa kung hindi sa tulong Ng lahat ng mga mahal ko sa buhay. Salamat sa inyong pag aalaga at pagmamahal sakin lalu na kay @mercadojenny ???????????? “Ang lahat ng ito ay hindi ko magagawa kung hindi sa tulong Ng lahat ng mga mahal ko sa buhay. Salamat sa inyong pag aalaga at pagmamahal sakin lalu na kay @mercadojenny. Sana po ay mapanood niyo ang #onegreatloveMerry Christmas and Happy New Year po sa inyong lahat,” Dennis said. 

The actor was down with flu during the awards night so his manager Popoy Caritativo received the trophy for him.

Dennis also thanked Mother Lily Monteverde for her trust throughout his career, and reminisced about his first trophy for the film "Aishite Imasu 1941" directed by Joel Lamangan in 2004.

Dennis also took the opportunity to thank the Kapamilya actors in the movie, as well as director Eric Quizon.
