'Touching moment': Iza Calzado tears up after surprise wedding gift from late mom

MANILA, Philippines — Iza Calzado teared up after a surprise diamond bracelet gift from her late mother.

A video posted on Instagram by celebrity doctor Vicky Belo showed Iza's best friend and fellow "Encantadia" star Sunshine Dizon giving her the present she kept safe for years.

Belo captioned it as a "very touching moment."

"I know it is something that you will really treasure forever. I love you very much," Sunshine said in the video before approaching a tearful Iza.

Iza's mom, Mary Ann Ussher, passed away in 2001 due to cancer. Iza was 19 at that time. Ussher entrusted the keepsake to Sunshine which was to be handed over to Iza on her wedding day.

Iza married fiancé Ben Wintle on Wednesday, December 19, on the island of Palawan.
