Miss Costa Rica brings back Steve Harvey's Miss Universe 2015 moment
MANILA, Philippines (Updated 1:29 p.m.) — It has been three years since award-winning host Steve Harvey had a momentary faux pas at a Miss Universe coronation night, yet the crucial moment still haunts him: Only now, he is one to join in at laughing at the mistake.
The Emmy-award winning TV host is back at the Miss Universe coronation for 2018. During the competition’s first cut where the Top 20 were named, Miss Costa Rica Natilia Carvajal—a TV host herself—shared a light moment with Harvey.
He asked the Miss Universe finalist: “From one host to another, do you have any tips for me?”

Miss Costa Rica said that she thought Harvey’s outfit and smile are great, but she does have one tip that Harvey may find useful “in the future.”
“If they ever give you like a really, really, really important envelope try to read carefully, okay?” she said eliciting laughter from the audience at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Steve blinked a couple of times and clapped back. “You all thought that was funny,” he said adding in a few fake laughs.
“You all just won’t let it go,” he also said.

During the Miss Universe 2015, Harvey mistakenly read that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez won the crown. Few minutes after the announcement, he returned onstage to interrupt the Colombian's celebration and admit the mistake: Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach is the real winner.

Harvey replied to Miss Costa Rica: “When you make a mistake get up and keep going."
“Still here baby,” the award-winning host added.
