MANILA, Philippines — The Miss Universe Organization on Thursday revealed the ticket prices of the anticipated pageant which will be staged in Bangkok, Thailand.

In its social media post, the MUO announced that tickets for the pageant will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 18.

“Ticket sales available for purchase at all Thaiticketmajor counters and thaiticketmajor.com on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Don’t miss!” the advisory read.

Ticket prices will costs approximately P4,000 (2,500 Baht) to P80,000 (50,000 Baht). The ticket prices are higher than the P8,000 to P50,000 price range of tickets when the Philippines hosted the Miss Universe 2016  in January 2017.

Here’s a breakdown of the Miss Universe 2018 ticket prices as well as its conversion in Philippine peso. (Exchange rate: 1 Baht = P1.60)

  • 50,000 Baht – P80,000

  •  35,000 Baht – P56,000

  •  25,000 Baht – P40,000

  •  18,000 Baht – P28,800

  •  13,500 Baht – P21,600

  •  10,000 Baht – P16,000

  •  6,500 Baht – P10,400

  •  4,000 Baht – P6,400

  •  2,500 Baht – P4,000

This year, the pageant will be hosted by Thailand with business firm TPN 2018 Co., Ltd. as the sole license holder of organizing the pageant.

The TPN was founded by business tycoons, Tee (Somchai Cheewasutthanon), Pui (Piyaporn Sankosik) and Na (Narong Lertkitsiri).

This is not the first time Thailand hosted the pageant. It hosted the pageant twice before, with the most recent staged in 2005.

The 2018 edition of Miss Universe will be held at at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani complex in Thailand on December 17 (7 a.m. local time.)

Philippines will be represented by former Miss World Philippines candidate Catriona Gray. The Filipina-Australian beauty queen landed in the top five of Miss World 2016.
