MANILA, Philippines —  Grammy-award-winning singer Mariah Carey has just landed in Manila on the early morning of October 25 for her concert at the Araneta Coliseum on October 26.

“I can’t wait to see the fans, the Filipino fans, I’m so excited,” Mariah told reporters upon arrival.

Before coming to Manila, the American singer-songwriter announced on Twitter last October 23 that she will be joining hit reality singing competition “The Voice” as key advisor during knockouts. Beginning October 29, she will be mentoring the contest’s remaining 32 singers alongside coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, and Blake Shelton.

It can be recalled that Carey was a judge at “The Voice’s” rival show, “American Idol,” alongside Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj for the competition’s 12th season.

Apart from being in “The Voice,” Mariah was also honored in Macao last October 20 by Sony Music Asia Pacific for 1.6 billion sales units in Asia Pacific.

“Thank you so much Sony Music Asia Pacific for this honor! 1.6 BILLION?!?! Wow!! Thank you to all of my amazing Asian fans for all the years of support. I love you and I'm so excited to be here on this tour!" Carey said on Instagram.

After her Asian tour, which will wrap up on November 9 in Bangkok, Mariah will go on a Christmas tour in Europe in December and will begin her “Caution World Tour” in February 2019.

Mariah was last in Manila for her “The Elusive Chanteuse Show” tour in 2014.

“Mariah Carey: Live in Concert” is presented in Manila by Wilbros Live. Tickets on-sale now at TicketNet.com.ph or call 911-5555 for more details. For more information, follow Wilbros Live on social media. — Video from Facebook/Wilbros Live
