WATCH: Angel Locsin reacts to viral video with Mocha Uson

MANILA, Philippines — Among netizens’ most favorite memes of singer and political blogger Mocha Uson is a scene from the Star Cinema film “Four Sisters and a Wedding,” where Angel Locsin battered Mocha after being caught cheating with Angel’s boyfriend in the film, Bernard Palanca.

In a recent interview with Philstar.com during the launch of her bag collection in collaboration with Avon Fashions, Angel said she knows that Star Cinema’s video clip, which now has over 123,000 views on YouTube, has been popular among netizens.

“Kaya pala minsan nagtataka ako bakit ako nagva-viral eh. Sabi ko, ‘Ba’t ako nagva-viral, anong nangyayari sa’kin? Tapos ‘pag tinignan ko, trending, trending, trending. Ah, ‘yun pala ‘yun!” said Angel.

When asked if she and Mocha are in good terms, she said: “Sana okay kami!”

Angel said that Mocha was “super nice” when they did the scene. 

“Nilapitan ko s’ya kung okay ba s’ya,” Angel said.

She stressed that the scene was not real. “Though, nasugatan s’ya ng slight dun. Kinakamusta ko s’ya kung papano. Wala naman s’yang reklamo nung time na ‘yun.”

Angel finds it funny that people still share the clip.

“Nakakatawa lang na kung papano ginagamit ngayon, ba’t ako nagtre-trend minsan. Nakakatawa lang. Natatawa lang ako sa nangyari.” — Video by Kat Leandicho
