Sarah Geronimo to represent Philippines in international music fest
MANILA, Philippines — “Pop Star Royalty” Sarah Geronimo will represent the Philippines in the upcoming 2018 Japan-ASEAN Music Festival in Tokyo this coming October 4.
The announcement, which came from the Facebook page of Embassy of Japan in the Philippines, said that they are proud that the award-winning singer will be representing the Philippines in the music festival.
“The #EmbassyOfJapan, in cooperation with VIVA Entertainment, Inc., are proud to announce that award-winning Filipino singer Sarah Geronimo will be representing the Philippines in the 2018 Japan-ASEAN Music Festival to be held in Tokyo, Japan this coming October 4, 2018. Here’s a special invitation from Ms. #SarahGeronimo,” the embassy wrote on its Facebook page.
In the video clip, Sarah invites all her countrymen in Japan to join the show.
“Hello to our kababayans there in Japan… Let’s all enjoy the show as I’ll be there with other Asean artists and soon the experience will be seen on Philippine TV. See you there. Salamat po,” the Kapamilya actress said.
Recently, Sarah proved once again that she is among the most versatile artists of this generation as she portrayed the young Feliza Malabaño in the blockbuster movie “Miss Granny.” The film reached the P100-million mark in less than 10 days.
