2NE1 members Sandara Park, Minzy reunite
MANILA, Philippines — Sandara Park and Minzy, members of the disbanded Korean group 2NE1, recently reunited following Minzy’s visit to the Philippines to perform at the opening ceremony of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.
On her Instagram account, Sandara posted a photo of her with Minzy.
"My still full of fun, cool, and cute sister Mingkki. The real maknae & the fake maknea #2NE1 #MaknaeLine feat. Watermelon fashion,” the “Star Circle Quest” runner-up wrote in Korean.
Netizens expressed their excitement and support after seeing the two’s photo online. Some even became emotional and said: “I JUST CRIED :((((( waaaaah I MISS 2NE1.”
Many 2NE1 fans are now clamoring for the reunion of the Korean girl group.
“Omgggg my giiiirls together again we need a 2NE1 reunion with the four queens,” a netizen commented.
Together with Bom and CL, Sandara and Minzy debuted as 2NE1 members in 2009. Minzy left the group in April 2016, while the group disbanded November the same year.
The group is best-known for their number-one hits, including “Try to Follow Me,” “Lonely,” “Go Away,” “Ugly,” “I Am the Best,” and “Missing You.”
