Vice Ganda gets Guinness World Record

MANILA, Philippines — Vice Ganda added another title to his already storied career as his cosmetics brand is now officially a holder of Guinness World Record by having the most people applying lipstick simultaneously.
Around 6,900 people joined in a historic feat at the Araneta Coliseum recently, where Vice Ganda beat the previous record of 5,840 held by MaryKay Cosmetics in China in 2015.

“Nagawa natin ganda people! Kavogue ang buong mundo! Salamat sa 6900 participants, we are now the holder of the Guinness World Record for the most people applying lipstick!!!! BONGGAAA!!! Salamat sa inyong lahat!!! #GandangPangWorldRecord #OfficiallyAmazing,” the brand wrote on its Instagram account.
The record-breaking event was part of a campaign to promote Vice Cosmetics. Besides asking people to applying lipstick, the “Unkabogable Star” hosted a music fest during the event. The music fest featured Gloc 9, Shanti Dope, Moira, Quest, Darren Espanto, and Yeng Constantino, to name a few, with a free entrance to the event, but attendees needed to buy lipstick from his brand.
