BB Gandanghari’s 50th birthday photo shocks netizens

MANILA, Philippines — BB Gandanghari shook the online world once again as she posted on her Instagram account a photo of herself lying on the beach naked to celebrate her 50th birthday.

“The Birth of BiniBini: a #natalday friendly reminder... Not only were we born into this world #barenaked, we are also just a grain of sand on GOD’s endless shore...” she captioned her post.

She also used the hashtags “#GoldenGirl #CelebratingGoldenYears #NextChapter #NewBeginnings #SunKissed #SunBaked #BeingBBGandanghari #Transgender #Empowerment #TransLife #BirthdaySuit #Virgo #repost” in her post.

Netizens on Instagram sent their their birthday greetings to BB as she gamely replied to well-wishers.

“Just a wonderful creature of God you are simply amazing, you looked so beautiful in the sand enjoy your day God bless and Happy Birthday hope to see u here at east coast,” a netizen commented.

Tweets also poured as reactions for the photo.

A member of the Padilla showbiz clan, BB, formerly Rustom Padilla, changed her name in January 2009.

She opened about her sexuality in a scene inside the “Pinoy Big Brother” house with housemate Keanna Reeves, during the first edition of the reality TV show’s first celebrity edition in 2006.
