MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actress LJ Reyes is expecting her second child, her first with boyfriend Paolo Contis.
In a video posted by LJ on her YouTube channel, she was asking her son with Paulo Avelino, Aki, a series of questions, including, “Do you want a playmate?”
Later on, in the video, LJ finally told Aki that she is pregnant, showing a sonogram picture as proof.
For his part, Paolo, who also has two children with former EB Babe Lian Paz, turned to Instagram to show his excitement with his new baby.
“YES WE ARE! God has blessed us with the perfect gift and we couldn’t be happier! We want to thank our families and friends who are as excited as we are. And to you @lj_reyes ... When we became a couple 3 years ago, I felt so lucky! With all the problems I had, all the baggage I carry, you still accepted me and became my partner and strength,” he wrote.
“Yes, we do have our bad days (dahil matigas ang ulo ko) but we always manage to be okay and happy... And now that we are expecting... I promise to be beside you all the way. You will never ever be alone. Thank you for everything my love! Mahal na mahal kita! We feel so happy and blessed and we just can't help but share this great news with everyone. LJ thanked everyone who greeted them on her Instagram account.
“Words can’t express how grateful we are for the love and warm greetings you all have been sending us! Please know that we want thank each one of you who took time to post/text/call for your greetings! We are very excited to be in this journey!” she said.
