MANILA, Philippines — Korean girl group Momoland arrived in Manila on Thursday via Asiana Airlines from Seoul at around 11 a. m.
The ladies behind the hit song “Bboom Bboom” is scheduled to do an exclusive and private event in Solaire Resort in Paranaque City.

“We would like to express our appreciation for the great public interest towards Momoland’s upcoming show. The commercial arrangement with Momoland, which guides this particular performance, involves an exclusive and private event. We hold dear as a guiding principle as often as possible that our valued guests and the public can enjoy our entertainment acts as they come available,” Solaire posted on its website.
Fans of Momoland members Nancy, Ahin, Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Taeha, Nayun, Daisy and Jooe gathered outside Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 to show their support for the girl group.
Netizens posted videos and photos of the group arriving in Manila for the first time, making Momoland one of the trending topics on Twitter on Thursday.
The girl group previously announced on their Facebook Live session that they will visit the country.
Reports said that Momoland wants to dance with Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano, Nancy’s “lookalike.”
In an interview with Philstar.com, Liza said she is willing to dance with the group.
“I don’t know how to dance, baka mapahiya lang po ako. But that would be a great experience!” she enthused.
